Entries Open for Roux Scholarship 2023

We have sponsored the Roux Scholarship since its inception 40 years so are very are excited to hear the details of The Roux Scholarship 2023, which apparently will see the most dramatic developments to the competition since its launch nearly 40 years ago. These include a new option for the star prize, a new-look final recipe challenge and the publication of a White Paper about women chefs and The Roux Scholarship. Global introduces new products for 2022

This September we invited some of our fabulous customers to the beautiful Langham Hotel in London, to celebrate the launch of our new products. During the day, we all took part in a cookery class, hosted by the wonderful ‘Sauce’. This was a great way for customers to get to grips (literally) with our new Global G-106 Kiritsuke Knife that we have just introduced. Jonathan Ferguson – Crowned 38th Roux Scholar

Huge congratulations to Jonathan Ferguson for winning the Roux Scholarship 2022. The 25-year-old junior sous chef from The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant in Crieff, Scotland, beat five other finalists in a highly challenging final cook-off held at Westminster Kingsway College, London, on Monday 11th April 2022.
