Entries Open for Roux Scholarship 2023

We have sponsored the Roux Scholarship since its inception 40 years so are very are excited to hear the details of The Roux Scholarship 2023, which apparently will see the most dramatic developments to the competition since its launch nearly 40 years ago. These include a new option for the star prize, a new-look final recipe challenge and the publication of a White Paper about women chefs and The Roux Scholarship. Jonathan Ferguson – Crowned 38th Roux Scholar

Huge congratulations to Jonathan Ferguson for winning the Roux Scholarship 2022. The 25-year-old junior sous chef from The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant in Crieff, Scotland, beat five other finalists in a highly challenging final cook-off held at Westminster Kingsway College, London, on Monday 11th April 2022. Oli Williamson crowned 2020/21 Roux Scholar

Congratulations to Oli Williamson who has won the 2020/21 Roux Scholarship! The 30-year-old Sous Chef from The Fat Duck, Bray, beat five other finalists in a fiercely contested final held at Westminster Kingsway College, London, on Monday 25th October, after the competition was postponed twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
