Delivery Options

Please order before midday, Thursday the 25th to guarantee delivery before the bank holiday weekend.

All orders placed after the Thursday midday cut-off time will be dispatched on Friday the 26th May, but will be delivered on Tuesday the 30th May, as our Courier Service does not operate over the bank holiday period.

All orders are dispatched using UPS and you may be asked for ID to verify you are over the age of 18. See below for the full range of services we offer:

*We aim for all orders to be dispatched the same working day if you order before 12:00pm Monday to Friday.

Europe

Orders to the EU and EEC will be sent ex Vat. VAT and Duty will be payable on the collection of the goods in the recipient country. VAT rates vary but are usually between 20-25% depending on the country. Duty for knives in the EU customs area is set at 8.5% These charges will be payable to the carrier on delivery. If payment of the VAT and duty is refused, GlobalKnives.uk  will take back the goods and refund the order minus any return shipping and duty costs.

For European deliveries we will charge:

·         £14.99 for any address in Zone 2-51 (excluding zone 6); and

·         £22.99 for Zone 6.

Your parcel should arrive within 2-3 working/business days.

Zone 2-51 Countries are: 

Republic of Ireland

Zone 6 Countries are:

Andorra, Channel Islands (Guernsey), Channel Islands (Jersey)

 

The Process

Once your order has been successfully completed and is ready to be sent you will receive an email from us confirming the successful dispatch of your parcel(s).

UPS will then contact you via email and SMS text message (if a mobile number has been provided) to confirm your tracking number and when your parcel will arrive.

If there is no response when UPS try to deliver your parcel, a card will be left giving you the option to re-arrange collection. They will re-attempt to deliver your parcel up to two times after which it may be returned back to Global Knives.

Please note due to courier restrictions, we are unable to ship to some areas of the UK on a next day delivery service.

 

Age Verification on Delivery

Challenge 25 is a strategy that encourages anyone who is over 18 but looks under 25 to carry acceptable ID (a card bearing the PASS hologram, a photographic driving license or a passport) if they wish to purchase age restricted goods”

Acceptable forms of identification would be Government issued photo identification such as:

• Passport
• Photo Card Driving Licence (not a paper copy)
• National Identity Cards (issued in other countries)

 

Security and Liability

UPS will ensure that your goods are correctly signed for thus ensuring that your parcel is in safe hands. Global Knives does not accept liability for any delivery instructions issued to the delivery company by the customer. If you leave instructions requesting a parcel to be left in a different location (eg pick up from a shop) we cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive your parcel.

Your purchase is insured if your parcel is lost/damaged/stolen whilst in transit and under the care of the couriers. Once the parcel is signed for then it is no longer covered under this agreement and the responsibility of the parcel and its contents falls to the recipient that signed.

To avoid delays to your order, please ensure that your billing address matches the address on your card statement and that the card holder's name is written as it appears on the card. Please ensure that your contact details are filled in accurately so that we can contact you if necessary.

For security reason’s customers will also be subjected to standard fraud prevention checks and age checks.

No deliveries or orders will be dispatched on Bank Holidays or between Christmas and New Year.
